Seismic Instruments

From hundreds to thousands of feet below the wellhead, seismic instruments can measure the slightest movements of earth or rock.  The stainless steel parts within these devices can experience galling.  Nedox is the preferred solution to  protect these parts against galling and wear—and it has the added benefit of corrosion resistance.

Clean Room Gauges

Gears used for gages in clean room environments require long lifespans to prevent failure, while adding dry lubricity. Using Nedox SF-2 on these parts can create a harder-than-steel surface and provide dry lubricity.

Pneumatic Hammer

Vibration and temperature testing machines sometimes experience galling from pneumatic hammers. Stainless steel pistons gall the aluminum cylinder, causing parts of the cylinder to cold weld onto the piston. Tufram L-4 can be applied to these parts to provide great impact resistance and add permanent lubricity and conductive resistance.
