The customer manufactures a gauze that is treated with a stiffener which makes the material highly durable � so durable that over an eight hour shift it often "sawed" through uncoated stainless steel guides.

Solution:
An ultra-hard, super-slick PLAZMADIZE coating reduced friction and lowered wear. Production was increased and downtime reduced.
