Problem:
Pneumatic hand tool casings made of lightweight magnesium were being rejected by customers because of unsightly nicks and scratches on the exterior of the casings during use.

Solution:
The MAGNADIZE coating gives the magnesium part a permanent, harder-than-steel, dry-lubricated surface protecting against even the toughest abuse. It also provides a superior base for the final exterior epoxy paint finish. In addition, it protects cylinders and pistons against wear.

Magnadize is a superior alternative to other common industry coatings such as magnesium anodizing (anodize), or HAE.
