Problem:
When speaker grills are molded the plastic tends to stick as it comes away from the mold. This produces a dimpling effect on the finished part. There are hundreds small pins and crevices on each mold and they needed every surface uniformly covered.

Solution:
To eliminate the sticking and dimpling problem, General Magnaplate recommended Nedox SF-2R to provide a uniform surface and release from the hundreds of nooks and crannies on the surface of the speaker grill.  The coating ensured the parts released from the mold and the replication off the surface of the mold was perfect.

Nedox is a superior alternative to other common industry coatings such as nickel plating, electroless nickel, sulfamate nickel, co-dep electroless nickel (or EN), polymer impregnated (or infused) electroless nickel.
