Problem:
As products were sent down a chute into plastic bags for packaging, an aluminum arm which pushed the accumulated products was scraping against the sides and bottom of the chute. This lead to material being deposited on the chute which created friction and slowed down the speed of the packaging operation.

Solution:
As well as reducing the size of the aluminum arm, the sides and bottom of the chute were coated in PLASMADIZE which resolved the wear and friction problems.
