Problem:
A part designed to fill glass vials with powder in the chemical processing industry was causing problems for the user because the part was sticking and causing the powder to cascade.  Considering the environment, it was essential that the coating provided chemical resistance.

Solution:
By coating the part with Tufram 641, General Magnaplate's technical team was able to prevent the sticking.  This increased the powder flow dramatically for the end-user and as a result, the weigh fill was also increased.  Tufram protects aluminum and aluminum alloys against wear while providing superior resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and acids and alkalines.  The customer was so happy with the solution, they had another part manufactured and, of course, General Magnaplate coated it with Tufram!
