Problem:
During the process of making voice coils for sound systems found in cars, trucks and the home, coils are removed from the arbors and the arbors are then recycled back to the beginning of the web winding process. The process worked until the arbors were reused over and over again. With continued reuse, adhesive buildup eventually caused the coils to adhere firmly to the arbors. As a result, the arbors' end became damaged, which eventually became costly since the arbors had to be replaced.

Solution:
LECTROFLUOR is a elastomeric polymer-based treatment that offers superior permanent non-stick release properties to all types of metals including the aluminum used on the arbors. It also creates surfaces with superior resistance to chemical attack, corrosion and abrasion. Once the coating was applied, the coils just slid right off the arbors.
