General Magnaplate is pleased to announce it has received an award from the City of Arlington, Texas, for compliance with wastewater discharge testing standards set by the City, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Companies based in Arlington that use a significant amount of water or use processes that can discharge atypical amounts of wastewater to the sewer system must satisfy strict regulations. They must also demonstrate their compliance by allowing annual and random inspections, meticulously testing wastewater discharges daily and submitting semi-annual reports. This award confirms General Magnaplate’s hard work and commitment to protecting public health.
“Our team works tirelessly to keep our wastewater at the correct requirements and is the reason why we have received this annual award since 2001,” says Barry Wiedeman, Lab and Environmental Manager, General Magnaplate. “We appreciate our team’s daily attention to these important details.”
