Next generation of high temperature coatings
Magnaplate 10K™ replaces conventional coatings that can't endure temperatures above 500°F (260°C). The coatings are designed to function after being exposed to temperatures well beyond the capabilities of standard polymer coatings.
Technical advantages
- Application to all Magnaplate coating families
- Ability to withstand high temperatures
- Low surface energy
- Non-stick surface
- Easy clean-up
- Excellent coefficient of friction values
- Compliance with USDA and FDA codes
- No PFOA or fluoropolymers
- Excellent hydrophobic properties
- Protection from high temperature oxidation
- Salt spray tests are ongoing, to date, 2000 hours
- Thickness range: 0.0002 to 0.002 inches
- Excellent abrasion resistance through a wide range of operating temperatures
