Tufram Omega™ is designed to control the resistivity range of surfaces that come in contact with electronic components.

Technical advantages

Tufram Omega offers superior properties when compared to common industry coatings such as electroless nickel, anodizing and polymers are often used to protect equipment. Tufram Omega offers:

  • Consistent electrical resistivity for static dissipation
  • Proper level of conductivity to eliminate shorts
  • Good wear and abrasion properties
  • Ohm range between 106 and 109
  • Will not generate contaminants
  • Hardness up to 65 Rc
  • Temperature stability to 200°F
  • Similar heat transfer rates to anodic processes
  • Outperforms electroless nickel
