At Magnaplate, we take pride in being more than just a business; we’re a force for good in our local community. That’s why, as the summer winds down, our employees recently got involved in preparing local students and children for the back-to-school season.

Donating to a Local School

Our Community Service Committee held a donation drive for school supplies, crafts, cleaning supplies and toys to benefit the students and teachers of a local elementary school in Arlington. Our teams of employees generously donated over 1,100 items! The team in charge of cleaning supplies collected the largest quantity of products and was awarded a free lunch for their incredible efforts.

Back-to-school Shopping

Our own Ligon de Vogel, Diana Segura and Megan Taylor went back-to-school shopping for our employees’ 75 children and grandchildren. Megan, Diana and Nolan Russo organized the volunteers, which included some of their children, to pack up the boxes with age- and grade-appropriate supplies for each child. We love our Magnaplate family, and we’re proud to help set these kids up for success as the new school year begins!
